Merry Christmas, Mom! I know you wanted a webpage, so I made you a layout that you would like. You can write all the content and I will worry about the coding and all that. You wont be able to use Dreamweaver unless you buy it, because it is licensed, but I can work straight from notepad.
I can change anything on this layout if I want to. And the name is just a stand in so you can see what it will look like. I can change the name to anything.
And if you get tired of this layout, I can make you a new one!
Don't pay any attention to the rest of the text, because most of it does not apply to this layout. I just copied it from another one to give you an idea of how the page would look when it is done.

Believe it or not, this layout has some thing your have to know about it. First, the background in the content is a set width. So you don't drive yourself crazy.
Oh, and don't mind the links right now. I set the "a:visited" to line-through, and technically, you are visiting the page. So the normal links are the same color without the strike through. Okay, we are clear on that.
